Abstract :

A product is undergoing into two processes through the machine M1 and then Machine M2. During the breakdown time of M1,M2 should run in order to avoid the idle time. Therefore, an
optimal model is derived in this paper by considering the breakdown time as a random variable. The effects of various parameters on the special cases are analyzed numerically.
